Benny Ona is an emerging Papua New Guinean legal practitioner with a strong academic foundation and a growing interest in commercial and public law matters across Papua New Guinea. He was recently admitted to the bar in Papua New Guinea after successfully completing postgraduate legal studies at the Legal Training Institute following completion of his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Papua New Guinea.

Benny has developed skills in legal research, drafting and case analysis, with particular interest in commercial litigation, constitutional and administrative law, judicial review, appeals, criminal law and general civil matters. He is recognised for his hardworking and team-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to delivering practical and well-researched legal support to clients.

Prior to joining PLN PNG, Benny completed his legal studies in Port Moresby and gained experience working collaboratively in academic and professional environments requiring attention to detail, communication and problem solving.
