Isaiah Iovatt is a law intern with Pacific Legal Network PNG, where he supports the firm across legal research, drafting, and litigation support.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Papua New Guinea, achieving strong academic results across key areas including commercial law, company law, taxation, and civil procedure. He has also recently completed his Practical Legal Training at the Legal Training Institute (LTI) and is awaiting formal admission to practice in May 2026.
Isaiah has gained practical experience through roles with Transparency International PNG and as an LTI trainee lawyer. In these positions, he contributed to legal research, policy analysis, drafting, and the conduct of court processes
He has a particular interest in AI governance, environmental and natural resource regulatory frameworks, and commercial and litigation practice. Isaiah is recognised for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, bringing both academic excellence and practical insight to his work.
