Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
A well-established Papua New Guinea law firm, Lane Lawyers, has officially rebranded as PNG Pacific Legal Network, marking a new phase of growth and expansion in its legal services offering.
The transition reflects the firm’s integration as a member of the broader Pacific Legal Network, while maintaining its strong local foundation and commitment to delivering legal services in Papua New Guinea.
With a growing team based in Port Moresby, PNG Pacific Legal Network is expanding its capability to support businesses, organisations and investors across key sectors including mining and resources, infrastructure, banking and finance, telecommunications, and commercial activity.
The firm continues to be led by well-known Papua New Guinean Partners Eunice Noki and Tony Noki, who have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services across litigation, commercial law and advisory work. Their experience spans complex disputes, corporate transactions and regulatory matters, supporting both local businesses and international investors operating in Papua New Guinea.

Commenting on the firm’s continued growth, Tony Noki said:
“We are proud to continue building on the strong foundation established in Papua New Guinea, while expanding our capability as part of the Pacific Legal Network. Our focus remains on providing practical, reliable legal advice that reflects the realities of doing business in PNG.”
The expanded team also includes existing Pacific Legal Network affiliates and respected senior practitioners such as Andrew Kidu, further strengthening the firm’s ability to support clients in telecommunications law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, and advisory matters.
Speaking on the growing demand for high-quality legal expertise in Papua New Guinea, Andrew Kidu said:
“The timely addition of Lane Lawyers into the Pacific Legal Network family is testament to the network’s commitment to fostering relationships with highly-skilled and locally-owned firms. With numerous existing projects across a range of industries, and many more in the pipeline, Papua New Guinea is a fertile ground for business which, in turn, creates the need for world-class and coordinated legal services to investors and the business community generally. This expansion means PNG Pacific Legal Network is well-equipped to meet that need and we are excited to be a part of the country’s growth.”
John Ridgway, Founder and Head of Legal Services at Pacific Legal Network, said the rebrand and expansion reflect a long-term investment in Papua New Guinea.
“The evolution from Lane Lawyers to PNG Pacific Legal Network represents the continued growth of a strong, locally based practice,” Mr Ridgway said. “We are focused on building depth in our Papua New Guinea team so that clients can access high-quality legal services delivered on the ground, backed by our wider Pacific network.”
PNG Pacific Legal Network is a member of the broader Pacific Legal Network, which provides coordinated legal services across more than 20 Pacific countries through locally based lawyers. As Papua New Guinea continues to grow and attract investment, PNG Pacific Legal Network remains committed to supporting clients with practical legal advice that reflects local conditions and opportunities.
